Today, continental theory is superseded by plate tectonics.
Continental drift treated only the continents as jigsaw puzzle whereas plate tectonics treats the continents, oceans and the earth's crust as pieces of jigsaw puzzle.
These segments are a flashback to part of the development of the current theory

@bushmusharraf Richard Guy CEO of Amalgamated Design Group is a Structural Engineer with a mission. Early in his career he became intrigued with an environmental anomaly. Many of the construction projects he worked on were being built on lands that had been deserted by the sea. Over forty years ago he started making observations of sea level wherever he worked. He has worked in The Middle East, England, The United States and The Caribbean.

I would like to thank you for asking about Earth Expansion. What I mean is Planetary Expansion. Yes: our Planet Earth is expanding and as it does our seas naturally recede. The concept is quite simple but is complicated by popular media hype about rising seas. I hope that more thinking people will use their powers of observation and find the truth.

Our Planet is expanding: earthquakes are the manifestation of the expansion process. As the earth expands the seas recede; that is a logical conclusion. We fail to see this because the process is slow. It takes place gradually and is hardly discernable in the average lifetime. The recession of the seas has pointed historical connotations. This is why all ancient civilizations evolved on the tops of high mountains. Richard Guy
