@RandleKrush Fuck you again. It's sad that you are blaming the game on the refs. We won that game because we were the better team. The reason you are arguing this is because the Illini have never done anything better than make it to a national title. You see UNC doesnt just go to a national title....we win them.

@mattmylescheesys They were in a league of their own from that season we beat you to 2009 when we won another natl title. No one could stop us. That bad season last year wasnt even a surprise bc we lost almost are whole team. People put Carolina in the preseason top 10 that year because they are ALMOST always one of the top 5 teams in the nation but that year we werent. This year we arent either but thats becausewe are still rebuilding. UNC will have a natl title in at least 5 years again.

@RandleKrush Fuck you. You are seriously making fun of North Carolina for having one bad season? We beat your ass in the national championship. UNC has 5 natl championships and how many does Illinois have? Hahahhahahahha thats what I thought. UNC is arguably the best college basketball program ever and in my opinion they are the best ever. Illinois is not in my top 25 ever and it should be in no ones top 25.

im an illini fan. i think unc was the better team but whats new? with their recruiting classes they should be in a league of their own.

And why should we care what a UCLA fan thinks? Anyway, if by owned you mean out-rebounded, out-possessed, had more assists, and weren't allowed to use our starting center and still barely lost after the refs spotted unc a 13 point lead via freethrows, then yea, we got owned. Refs love us. Look up the box score from the 01 Maryland game too and see how hard we got 'owned'
