Wood'N Waveforms 6 Oct 2011 Villain @ East Village

Wood 'N Waveforms is a new night with the belief, like Ray Charles said, there are only
two types of music, good music & bad music & we will be presenting the former!!!

Taking the format of an open mic/Jam session with a broad remit of musical styles.

Imagine Bon Iver jamming with Kratfwerk & Miles Davis with
Kenny Dope providing beats on the decks or Prince singing with Brian Eno on synth,
Little Richard on Piano & Jamie XX on rhythm duties!!!!
(Please note at present none of the above artists will be performing however you I hope you get the idea?)

It will form a foundation for acoustic vocalists, singer
songwriters to perform & jam with beat makers, DJs & bass players, jazz pianists &
experimental noise makers, horn players & general music makers & lovers.

The venue will be set up with an electric piano, guitar & amp, bass & V amp, Synths, CDJ decks &
a mixer & other weird & wonderful instruments for making sounds & beats (Autoharp, Dulcimer, Harmonium, retro drum machines).
Sadly at present there will be no drum kit due to size restrictions.
