Luna is a six-year-old Bengal tiger rescued in 2005 from a private breeder whose USDA license was revoked, forcing the removal of 37 large animals. After surviving horrid living conditions for the first several years of her life, this video captures her move from temporary housing to a large, permanent habitat at Black Pine Animal Park. Because both of her top canine teeth are broken, the result of being fed frozen meat by her previous owner, Luna needed to be examined. This also provided the opportunity for a blood draw to conduct routine tests. This video documents portions of the exam and the move.
life must be a living hell for captive wild animals.
