This is a great way to get that Ben's Cookies style cookie at home.

You will need:

300g Caster Sugar
200g Unsalted Butter
275g Self Raising Flour
1 Large Egg
75g Cocoa Powder
1 Big Bar of Chocolate

Preheat oven to 200c / 220c fan oven

Two baking trays. lined with tin foil

Then follow the video!

These cookies WILL get more firm when cooled so you can break them without them falling apart.

  • OMG they are amazing thanks :)

  • @Kenzel95 Why thank you! Not that time has gone by and I've got my new camera I'll upload a few more recipes.

  • I made these today and they are possibly the best cookies I have ever tasted! They are definitely very similar to Ben's cookies :)

  • @blackmoonbluestone

Yay! I'm making a coffee variation of them today for friends. It's very easy to overcook them as they harden when they cool, I always tend to take them out a bit early and wait for them to harden instead of cooking them too much.

I'm posting an HD version of this video soon with new material!

  • thanx for these cookies. I'm a biggest fan of Ben's Cookies and I searched alot to find there recipe. If I want to make the milk choclate chunk shall I follow ur reipe but without using the cocoa powder?

  • @awash1985

Yeah! Try that, it's all about experimentation.

  • hey i was wondering do you have to use unsalted butter or can you use all types? thanks:-)

  • could you please do the white chocolate one ?! =D

  • @edzg maybe you can use powder milk instead of cocao powder ....but i dont know how it will react to the oven. the best milk powder to use is Nido powder Milk. try it, it might work.

  • Can someone help me.................I dont get what you do after you've pushed the first chocolate cube in the middle of the dought. how do you cover it up to put the other chocolate on top? thanks

  • iam sooooo doing this tomorow yummmmmm :-) love you for posting this.

  • how to make the chocolate chip one? not the double one

  • what if you want to make the white chocolate ones? would you leave out the cocoa powder? replace it with anything or just leave it as it is?

  • @xayyxbayyxbayyx Celsius, there are calculators to work it out in Fahrenheit.

  • can you give me the written recipe? I can't do the exact cookies as in the video, Probably I do not use the suitable quantities at the right time. My e-mail: marti2sanz@hotmail.com.

    Thank you very much!!!!!!!!
