She needs a lesson from Stephanie Mills on how to sing this song. This version is way over-romanticized.

@59fields I prefer Regine's version of this song. I love the purity and intensity of her tone. Very consistent. No need to take a lesson from Stephanie Mills. I saw her live version, she may have touch your sensibility but technically, there are some flaws with her vocals especially as she change registers and the way she handles the vowels . Her upper register is also not that strong.

IMHO, Regine delivered the song with the right amount of emotion.

OMG!! What wonderful performance!! Prodigious wonder! i swear, those "note by note" comparison vids of Regine with other singers don't do her justice. Regine is more than just the greatness of her high notes, it's her delivery of the WHOLE song that makes her a cut above the rest. So young here but what an amazing singer already. You're right Reginified, I don't see any of the young Pinoy singers able to match a performance of this calibre.
