r u a cheater or does the remote u use make funky kong turn really sharply on manual cuz mine dont turn as sharp as urs does

i searched the web for it and couldnt find any site... how can i turn the bike at the beginning of the time trial? i tried everything (wheelie + pushing the joystick to the right) and every other buttons, put it doesnt work :(
