CSX Coal Train departing OUC Curtis Stanton Power Plant Orlando, FL

While heading to Melbourne on the evening of 6/2/09, I was crossing over International Corporate Parkway and saw the CSX Coal Train parked idling and ready to head back to the A-Line. I rushed up to Dallas Blvd and shot a U and made it in time to catch it out. Unfortunately, because of the light I crossed the tracks and did not get the video with the cooling towers in the background. Next time!

I lived about 3 miles from this location (as the crow flies) for at least 5 years. I would randomly hear train horns some nights. Never been lucky enough to see them in person, but this video gives me hope! Do you happen to know the schedule for this train or was it just luck for you, too?

Nice to know were breathing in. 7 minutes worth of train cars of coal each and every day. Wake up people, were living in hell
