testing out the bugera 333XL sorry if its to loud or bassy its really configuring covers for the amp n recording
featuring Bobby....
but i think it was a close enough tone range for metallica sound. lemme know what you think of the sound. nail or off. This Amp Is A Monster

hey man i got the same guitar and im thinking about buying EMG 81s , whats ur opinion ? as i see u got a veeery nice sound :D

P.S. did u change the humbuckers by urself ?

@dragonslt i have emg 81s on my explorer and i love it for what it is. i'm currently only using my esp which has 89's in them. i love it as well as it aint that high output its on medium high. its all about preference. 81 85 combo is all gain high output my emg 89 is medium output more blend of deep tone as u get a more strat sounding from it. no i took it to a professional. but earlier this year they just changed the installs to solder less so now anyone can install any emg pickups.

@dragonslt on another note it you have to just venture and find what combo configurations are suitable for you and your guitar as wood is a deep factor of what the pickups will make of it. if you do have a esp ltd f-50 well if you like the emg 89's i got in it look into em. but its always best to really check out do your studies on what pickup would be sweet and not cause zakk wylde of kerry king etc artist used em. i went to all pickups n just found emg more happy in my sound.

@kingchubbo but i also put a Earvana nut on it 2 which eliminated most of the tunning problem i had with it. this is like my main axe my 2nd is a epiphone goth explorer with emg 81 85 n a earvana as well.

i knew that i just didnt wanna get the stupid WMG stupid tag but ended up getting it anyways. um as far as EMG its what u wish. wanna high output then EMG 81 85 r the way the go. if u want something like this where its sorta like a stratish high output then the 89 i got in these are suitable
