the Lakers of the 80's were the most balanced team in the history of the NBA...think about it for a sec, in 1987-88 they led the league in team scoring average, yet the team leader in scoring was Byron Scott, averaging 19 ppg...not one guy averaged 20 ppg, yet they led the league in scoring...AMAZING...!!!

@jfam3 All hype? They won 61 games you idiot... Just because someone doesn't win a championship that doesn't mean they're all hype. That means your lakers were "all hype" they got swept this year and lost the last 5 to end the regular season. Not even a 1 seed in the west.
