OTI Closes Shop in Kanata, Canada

The Ottawa Talent Initiative commonly known as OTI has announced the closure of its action centre at 359 Terry Fox Drive in Kanata, Canada as of the end of December 2006 due to a the Federal Government of Canada rejecting OTI's bid for another funding. Addressing more than 75 highly trained technology workers OTI's chairperson and former mayor of Kanata and newly elected Counselor of the City of Ottawa Ms. Marianne Wilkinson told the gathering that the Federal Government of Canada had turned down OTI's application for funding and OTI had no choice but to shut down its action centre.
