History is repeating itself dating back pre-flood (Noah's Day) and pre-fire destruction (Sodom and Gomorrah).

There was climactic homosexuality prior to the flood destruction and Sodom/Gomorrah destruction. Now... there is climactic homosexuality today, now in 2010.

Where does that leave us?

At another cycle of destruction, but this one will be the last.

@Sierraskyecc It's in the first amendment. Look it up. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. If God's your only argument, that's fine, but it isn't legally valid. As far as religion goes, I'm not arrogant enough to assume I hold absolute truth over anything. I preach the gospel of "I don't know." There hasn't been sufficient evidence presented to make be believe in any religion, but that's just me.

It should, also, be remembered that Jews of that time, and even later until after the days of Christ, would have believed that the main reason for the Great Flood, implied by the text preceding the story of the Flood, would have been the act of sex between angels, called the Sons of God, and humans, resulting in offspring. They would have viewed men desiring sex with angels through the prism of that knowledge.

You mention the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

To the best of my memory, when the men of Sodom demanded the angels for rape, he offered them his daughters. The same daughters that, soon thereafter, drugged and incestiously raped him for two nights; impregnating themselves and giving birth to Moab and Benammi.

These are the supposedly righteous that were spared, excluding his wife, who the angels turned into a pillar of salt for looking back.

Rape and incest is acceptable, homosexuality not?
