Washington DC Scientology protest 7/28/10 5:40-7:15 pm

Due to AnonSparrow1's temporary inability to be out here practically every day, I was worried that the Scientologists might start to miss us! Fear not, myself and RadioPaul were on the case.

My camera isn't nearly as awesome as Sparrow's. I have camera envy. But! I got some good stuff, pretty much by accident. I was talking to a member of the public (I cut most of our conversation for length but kept his half-remembered explanation of OT3, too hilarious that so many random public can explain the gist in spite of never having taken a course or looked it up in their lives) a teenage girl and her friend came out of the Org and challenged me to explain how Scientology "ruins lives" (the text of my sign). I'd just been discussing teenagers getting raped in the Sea Org, so I was a little startled and slow on the uptake; I didn't get to say very much before her mom/relative/authority figure shrieked at her from down the sidewalk to "get inside" (inaudible in the recording). I hope she doesn't get sucked in too deep, she seemed very nice and sure of herself.

When RadioPaul showed around 7 to take up my sign, I knew my work here was finished, for now. Muhahahaha.
