Chill calocatelli. You may be right about how capoeira is played, but stay calm. The capoeirista with the dreads kicking the other until he left due to injury is more than is necessary. I don't know what exactly is the story there, but I know enough as a person to realise that in an organised, civilized game, when one player has not provoked such an attack, it is too much to cause such an incident.
However, if you watch earlier ,the injured player did martelo in the same manner.
I don't agree...if you made the mature decision to go into the roda, you play the other person until you both are done...if you are trying to get out of the roda and the other is still playing, you either play you shake hands. what is up with idiots and you tube comments? wtf?
who are you calling gringo, you argentine fuck? It better not be me. You are the gringo here dude, especially when it comes to capoeira. Sou do Brasil seu porrinha, aqui nao tem nada de gringo. Quer me ver jogando capoeira, aparece ai. Quando voce estiver em Utah, nos EUA, me manda uma mensagem que te dou o endereco da nossa academia. If you didn't understand what I said, then you are the fucking gringo.
I didnt say it wasnt capoeira, i apologise for phrasing that incorrectly, i wouldnt use that in my game. Thats just how i play, and thats how they play, thats fine by me. I think people took my first comment far too seriously!!
Problem is that people are too spoiled with capoeira outside of Brazil... back home things are different, and they are the roots of capoeira, a clean, dry capoeira that very much shows the art form that freed the slaves, as it "frees" a lot of people to this day and protects them from the tough life they have...so the fact that you don't agree with some moves in this roda makes no sense...you can choose to not use these moves in your game, but they are capoeira regardless of what you think.

The only thing I saw that might be considered "nasty" is when one of them kept kicking another guy when he was trying to get out of the roda
