I really don't see why they didn't put in split screen, just like Criterion with Burnout Paradise and NFS Hot Pursuit. Couch multiplayer with these types of games is heaps of fun and adds to the experience. It's got nothing to do with strain on the system, Uncharted 3 has split screen co-op and works just fine.

Lol, people there is a reason their motto is "Defy Reality", it isn't supposed to be realistic at all. It's an arcade style sports game and that is something a lot of people cherish in games like SSX, NFL Street, and NBA Jam.
