GBH was in its own league. It has so much soul. It proved prophetic. it shaped my political views and remains my favourite show. never has there been a more complex anti-hero as Michael Murray played by Robert Lindsay who was phenomenal. Jim Nelson is old-school moral man. love the twists. MM seems like the baddy at first. the lines are blurred between good and evil. next best thing is the wire on HBO. both play out like a good novel.

Without a trace of bias,lol,I have to say,we Brits DO create some fecking wonderful characters/dramas! Alan Bleasedale is a genius & JW brought her own unique take on Mrs Murray! "Peter-pratting-Pan" hahahahahahahahaha!
