Weil: "Kaplan University is a criminal enterprise"

The Washington Post has reached many Americans and now appears to be taking advantage of them as well. Washington Post's Kaplan University is a for-profit college and will take basically anyone if they can pay their tuition. Investigative journalist Dr. Danny Weil says you cannot regulate a criminal enterprise and Kaplan University is certainly a criminal enterprise that in many ways works like a mafia.

Seriously.... this character was either not accepted or kicked out... potential students are screened and for those who succeed the courses are harder/more difficult than you typical brick and mortar.. many of our Military serving abroad have been able to complete their college studies because of Kaplan - so cudos to Kaplan for being part of our National Security

Kaplan is a good University ! I have some things that I have to work out personally in order to complete my degree but,The on-line method of teaching Kaplan uses is very affective! Kaplan University scammed me as well. I was a student there for almost 2 years and was on the Dean's list for the majority of my time there. I loved it. Towards the end of my degree plan, someone automatically signed me up for my last few classes (which I was going to wait to take). I was blocked from them and then charged for them. I was unable to get in touch with anyone from the financial aid dept. and eventually my "unpaid judgement" was sent to a collection agency.
