  • I have that exact clay tea pot (the brown one), I love it!

  • @Kaminix

    Actually it's rather the opposite.

It makes the tea really acidic...

    :)

  • @Peekingduck Haha, note that she says "for health benefit purposes". Perhaps higher temperature is better if you don't care about the taste? :D

  • It's going to become much to bitter and acidic to drink, sitting for ten minutes with water at 90º to 100º C ! ! !

Should be around 75º to 80º C and just a minute or so to be enjoyable...

  • I know that, but 90 degrees Celsius is too hot for green tea / sencha... the bester the tea, the lower the temp. I prefer 70-75 for Standard sencha. br

  • @coon2086 lol the water boils at 100 degrees Celsius ;) so that would be right. as soon as it boils, you should pour it to the teapot ;)

  • 10 Minutes is too long.2 or 3 minutes should be enough.

  • Infuse for 10 mins? Are you crazy o_O' That tea will taste like shite...

  • 70°C!!!not 90 to 100. wtf?

  • Don't poor boiling water on green tea!!!

That is so wrong for so many reasons!!!
