  • @jed371 That is true however, Clinton's failure to reinforce cornwallis at yorktown was the costliest blunder of the war.

  • @zyzor Clinton was a sound commander, his capture of charleston proved that. if Howe had listened to his advice at Breed's Hill, the war would have ended in 1775

  • Howe was a decent commander. Clinton was by far the worst and probably lost the war himself. Cornwallis should have been given a larger role in the war by Howe the war could have turned differently if they made cornwallis the commander in chief.
