@fegolem - Still have the tractors? I just got two which are not runners and will be restoring them - I am missing the air compressor and genset for both - would be interested in setting up a trade or outright purchase of the missing parts - thanks

I may be mistaken. It may be a M-2.

Very nice MG-1! I have two myself. One running and one parts machine. I also have to say to be careful with the tracks. There are very few left with good tracks.

I WISH, but I do have an Oliver OC-3. I know that the MG1 was built both by Cletrac and by John Deere (the only difference is the serial number plate IIRC) and that they used a track specific to the MG1. Other tracks like the those on tanks, half tracks, etc. are not compatible. There has been talk of building new ones, but nothing has come of it that I know of. If they do, I would expect a price of up to $5000 for a pair.
My father has a parts MG1 and a mostly-running MG1. No tracks. The running one sits in the barn. There is a high pressure air compressor running off the rear PTO with a tank mounted on the left fender. Generator running off the front PTO (disused). Wench in the front as well. I was told it was used on airstrips. Sad to see it just sit there. It runs. Only use is as a seven ton air compressor.
Someday....

do you sell some parts and the compressor?

Be very carefull with those tracks. They're extremely hard to get in useable condition.
