I have an iPad, and the Numbers application, and I do inventory in a warehouse... but my bosses won't cough up the money to set up wifi in the warehouse. So I can do spreadsheets all day on the Pad, won't matter if at the end of the day I can't send any of the updated info to the main computers.
I suspect they also worry wifi could be abused by the workers. But I mean... really, they're already abusing the internet on the main computers, lol.
