Valencia High School Band 2000-2001 Field Show

This was how our entire performance was like, but I made a montage of different performances (not all of them) together -- including our practice session on our very own school field WITHOUT our uniforms.

If you can't tell, I kept each video's own original audio source (that's why some parts sound louder than others); it is not just the same, single audio playing in the background. I just edited/cut different performances/videos so it would seamlessly sound together.

I played the clarinet. That was the first and last time I was in marching band/field show; it's a lot of work! I have a lot of respect for them. It gave me a lot of stress then, but when I look back at it now, it was a pretty cool experience. It was nice when we won 1st place for all categories; and also when we made it to the finals in the WBA Band Championships -- where the top bands in California competed -- but we barely made it, though. lol. Oh well, at least we made it. It was crazy competing in the huge football stadium. The roadtrip was fun.

We had to carry the huge, heavy pillars in the back for the competitions too!

My mom did the filming, except for one of them (I'm sure you can figure out which one).

Oh man Pinokiyo! You have no idea how much of a smile this brought to my face. I was a trumpet player in the band and I believe this was my Junior year. Good memories. Do you have the other shows at all?

Trumpet player? Is this Steven? I have the first show we did before our uniforms got changed - it looked pretty bad, though. Haha. I also have the marching parade one... maybe I'll upload it but it's a pain to convert and upload, if you know what I mean.

What do you mean?! Well, some of the footage of Gavorkna was one of our earlier performances (I think our 2nd one?), so there was a lot to be improved on. I wish I had a better angle/footage of the "coolest part of the Gavorkna drill" (1:40) - where we're moving around in a square - but I had to use that one without our uniforms on (the practice footage).

You don't happen to have anything from prior to 2000-2001 do you? I'd love to see anything from 1996-2000 years. Strange to see the band with these uniforms on.

you shoulda picked the video with the best audio quality and used its audio. then picked the different video angles without using their audio. i think i explained what im tryin to say well! lol
