Yes, that would be probable cause. In my opinion the CoMo police do a great job at keeping down the parties that get out of control. If every one AT the party would keep their big drunk mouths shut (like the girl in the background on this or one of these recordings) there would be no problem. Let the police come in there and do their job and take care of the idiots, while leaving the SMART, quiet and complient individuals alone. Then, you have no problems...

On one hand they have no right to enter the home without consent from the owner unless they have probable cause...which would be underage kids peering out the windows with alcohol lying everywhere. They then had a right to enter...sad story but true.

Actually, I forgot to add that I went to school at MU, lived there for 7 years, partied my ass off, and I NEVER had a problem with the police. I have dealt with them on many occasions. I have found the people that have problems with them are hot heads and smart asses...and I'm not suprised when they DO have problems with the Columbia Police.

I agree, every dept. had their low lives who thrive on their power of arrest. But don't let a couple bad ones ruin the image for you. There are bad people in every occupation. The best you can do in dealing with power crazy cops is just plain do what they say. Do what they say, and forget about it. Shit I mean they didn't come out there for no reason!
