Commander Shark the Clark, Clark Presswood, served for the USA in multiple tours as a United States Navy Seal and was an amazing diver with an interest in FORCE FINS.

This video shows him in a submarine test tank using the same instruments to measure speed that was used for testing the submarines.

Exert from letter written to Bob Evans from Commander Clark the Shark- "The rig I am wearing in the video is the Drager LAR V closed circuit oxygen rebreather, utilized by SEALs., U.S. Marines, U.S. Army as well as the British SAS and SBS, Australians, Germans and no telling who else. I was allowed three runs through the range. I stirred up quite a bit of interest wearing my Force Fins. ...... Incidentally , my average times were faster than many of the human powered submarines"

A very special friend to Bob Evans, Force Fin and everyone who had the pleasure to spend time with him, Commander Shark the Clark you will live forever in our hearts and mind.

  • I had the great honor of working with and diving with Clark before he passed away. He was an extraordinary individual who served both with the Teams and with the US Navy Experimental Diving Unit. His unique insight as a SEAL operator was a huge asset at NEDU where he designed and tested military dive gear. We still mourn his loss.

No, you are not in shape, don't flatter yourself.

You are not a speed demon either. Unless you can reach unless you can get to atleast 40 meter per minute with any fin.

We both know you can't do that. Niether can I.

  • I use snorkeling in rapids as low impact exercise / cardio, I have very strong legs as I do a lot of mountain biking and basketball, and I find that most fins are too flimsy for me to be able to kick full force without folding them over. What is the rigidity on these like? It looks like in the video the diver is kicking too fast for the speed hes going. I'm definitely a speed demon and looking to get the maximum thrust.

  • @inluvwithsara Well said, I completely agree!

  • @danieleriver, what I have found with these(comparing them to jet-fins, and churchhill makapu fins) the best way I can explain it is like bicycling...when you distance ride you go for 55-80 rpms in your pedaling(my perfect cadence is about 65rpm)...in the proper gear most would think its too easy and want that resistance but you will burn out.

I can swim a mile much faster and still have plenty of juice in me with the force fins compared to the scuba pro jet-fins(which are still a great fin)

  • it ok

  • ARO sistem 100% OXY it s true ?? XD

but it s not soo expensive in energy use this fins ?? you moove more, no more time i undersood but in frog style i do that whit triple time but whit 20 sot no more and i dont use more air?? FF it s best than jetfin??or it s alon different??

  • a Very intersting way of diving...

  • This makes me want to dive with Force Fins!
