Season 10 of "The View". April 25, 2007. Rosie, Barbara, Joy & Elisabeth discuss the possible impeachment of President Bush.
Also Barbara tells her often-told story of how she dislikes Heather Mills who had recently cancelled a scheduled appearance for the show.
Then the ladies speak of Alec Baldwin's upcoming appearance on the show later that week, which prompts Joy to make a joke referencing his then recent phone call to his daughter.

This clip makes it clear why Rosie left. Babrara's rather rude comment ("Are we going to do this every day? Are we gonna fight the Iraq war every day") makes it obvious she is not happy with the political conversations that happened often that season.
Her comment seems snidely directed at Rosie. Not surprising, I guess. Barbara never seems to really want to open controversial topics.
I see having written "Let it Be" is enough to acquit Paul McCartney's of virtually everything else. Although, as a valid occult argument against his ex, it fails miserably (not to mention professionally).
Much more important than this playing-divorce-favorites trite... on the topic of LIES: Mz. Walters, the account you're offering here on the "Mills Before/After" story is COMPLETELY different than the one I had previously watched.
And yet so many dislike Rosie still. They forget why she was disliked. She was speaking out on the president & the war before it was public knowledge, and she ruffled a lot of feathers. Now that the truth has come out, people forget that Rosie was correct and continue to go on hating her. Seems to me she's the real American for not supporting an administration that has America acting un-American. Down with Bush & Cheney!
Shoot, it's one of those bigotry things - she's gay and fat. Great combo that still seems perfectly acceptable to dislike. And she's a strong woman - not some foofoo. She was right about bushit. And I'd really like to throttle the dumb blond - for being such a Bushie - she makes me ill. She's a phoney, hypocritical Christian who thinks bush's potty doesn't smell bad. I just don't know how they sleep at night. Rosie should feel vendicated - and she's welcome at my house anytime.
