King Kong Jane at Countdown 2009! - Lollipop

KKJ headlined this Countdown 2009! gig at Marina Barrage. Earlier on that day, their original composition If It Wasn't For You was chosen as Singapore's Top 5 Local Songs by radio station Power 98 FM.

King Kong Jane was picked as Best English Local Act 2008 by respected musician and reviewer Patrick Chng for Singapore's broadsheet The Sunday Times on December 28.

On December 30, the band fronted a media conference for 'Feed Me' - a youth initiative by youth.sg. They appeared in The Straits Times the next day.

King Kong Jane is currently recording their debut album at Snakeweed Studios, and plans to release it in 2009. For more info, email kingkongjane@gmail.com
