Good job! I'm 61 years old and still can't pick one tune from memory. You're going to be great as long as you don't put the mandolin in the closet for six months at a time like I do. Keep on pick'n!

Good job kiddo!Keep it up and you'll go far. There will always be people to try and cut you down and tell you you can't make it. Don't let anyone tell you the mandolin is a CUTE instrument! Simply remind them that it's not the size it's how you USE it!

@bluegrassman776 I am the other way. WELL sort of. I LOVE my mandolin, more than anything. But I sometimes wish I had spent more time on guitar. Or had time to spend on guitar now. But now with my own band and all I NEVER have time to work on guitar. Or even fiddle, which was my first instrument. I only ever have time for mandolin...NOT complaining, only wishing I could play my other instruments better.
