@newtonsecondlaw Thank You very much my friend,if you for you question & never listen to someone who not qualified to do so.Plus ask them what is after a technique too. They can't get that out of a book :).Everybody has tools hands/feet,but not good mechanics. That's why it looks like a tough man contest fight,no skills,& they don't know there ranges. So i hope I gave you some good advice & take care.

@newtonsecondlaw Also you have people who teach themselves, then tell me what the think how it done & don't have the experience at all. It's like a kid going to school telling the teacher how to do the work,it's very insane. Then they try to do a move,it don't work, you'll hear all kinds of excuses.A book only show just a lil, because if it was in all detail, then there wouldn't be no use of schools. Then ask them "What are the 3 things that makes up martial arts & explain it.You won't get a answer.

@newtonsecondlaw & look ,he became a Champion using TMA.So my friend ,don't listen to these so-called people who claim they know so much about the art.Ask them this! What is the 4 stages of combat,3 ranges,# laws of the universe,& what do T/s/e means.I promise you, they'll talk about something else.A real instructor & master knows these things a god 1 do.Many of them don't,because they wasn't exposed to it.You got to be able to fight on different terrain, styles, multiple fighters, etc to be a good.

@newtonsecondlaw In China, you have to remember it's a communist country. They only let you see what they want you to see,so you have to have someone who knows about the real kung fu,not the water down version. It's alot of that going around in all arts, including MMa.How can a guy do a lil of this 7 that, calls himself a mix martial artist. Then that means you haven't master the art.So how can they claim to be the Ultimate fighters.i haven't seen none of them higher than a 3degree like Machido.

@newtonsecondlaw Good at don't look pretty,it's really ugly& very direct.I'm not going to dance around throwing strikes, that I hope it will land.I'm going to strike/block etc,the fights over.MMA guys like to go to the ground,if they do it in the streets their going to get kicked/punched by other people. Most people either never been in real fights or just a few in a lifetime.I had plenty of bad situation, where i had to defend myself.Fighting against more than 1,who fight 1 on 1 these days.

@newtonsecondlaw you have to know in real combat. The 4 stages of combat(i hear MMA guys say I'm going to take you to the ground this 7 that)as if I'm just going to stand there & let it all happen. You see a good fighter don't plan he just react whatever is going on at that time.plus too many depend on speed, power, strength, but good timing will be that any day.You have to know your range, good structure, protecting your center, footwork, etc. Many just slug it out, that looks like a bar brawl, not skills
-
@newtonsecondlaw no that 1 day,i will be beat.No ones invincible, one can lose at anytime regardless of experience. My highest level of fightiing is a 9th degree,I would never spar against a grandmaster, because i'm not within his rank. You have to be well rounded,in everything because this is what a good fighter understands.Plus I see so many BB,that good in schools, but outside of their system they have problems fighting other styles. You see I also know martial science,in which deals with the thing
-
@newtonsecondlaw reason why people think Kung Fu is just for Demo, not for street fighting. This comes from people who are not teacher or master, but internet surfers.they look at UFC,read books,& internet. You ask them are they instructors & then they can't even answer a basic question.Any style can be beat,it really depends on the artist. Many live inside the box, instead of outside the box, plus there 1c dimensional fighters.I test my skills against MMa,Tae kwon do,etc & I haven't lost yet.But I do
-
@newtonsecondlaw Now I'll give you a prime example about grappling, submission, etc.Look at Bruce's movie "return of the Dragon" you see him doing these moves back in 72.This has been in the martial arts long time before,he just brought it to America.Like Shaolin kung Fu,they exchanged ideal from General, masters of all other arts.So when you see real Kung fu it's very complete, but it depends who teaching you the art.You have good & bad in all arts, because some do it for the money.this is the main
