Car fire that started at a Mapco gas station on 08/29/11. Filmed from next door from Independent Access Center. No one was injured thankfully. What worries me is that the people who worked at the gas station did not know where the emergency shut off button was. A guy ran in and helped them shut it off, we're so thankful to that guy, or else more people could have been hurt. BAMF of the Day
Ha not to be mean but i think that the fire would have not came over there so yall were a lil bit to cautious

While it seems like the department here was volunteer, its unfortunate that some city departments facing cutbacks have found 12 minute response times acceptable in the wake of closing stations. I have to give the lone firefighter on the first due some credit; he really pulled a honey badger on that fire with his initial attack.

With that kind of response time, it's got to be a volunteer fire department.
