@LoveForSure82 -- Your Cousin Shirley is the BOMB!!! I don't think singers even gospels singers today sing with the feeling they did back then. Its hard to stay perfectly in tune live but they put everything into it and just killed it with all there hearts. Believe me i LOVE people like Kim Burrell,,she's a Monster of Monsters, but i miss all that feeling that just took you to another place back in the day. Thats what music is purposed to do to you,, Lynnette and your Cuz,, those R my Gurls....

I remember when this album came out. I was 9 or 10 years old. This album gave me so much hope and this song taught me to cling to God. I was being sexually abused and just wanted the pain to stop. I played this album so much, sometimes in silence, just listening to the words. Didn't know they would be the catalyst to my unyielding faith in God.
