I love this recipe and use 2/3 walnuts and 1/3 almonds. Sometimes I throw in some macadamias. I also add organic salted crunchy peanut butter and add a little vanilla or hazelnut agave to the cake as well. I use alderwood smoked sea salt in the cake and the fabulous frosting, to which I also add a little peanut butter to taste.
I do recommend making extra frosting!

This is sooo yummy..made it today for a friends birthday! Very RICH, taste like a fudge brownie mix. The frosting is now my new favorite!! Perfect for anyone wanting to cut refined sugar and flour out of their diet.;)
