Steam devils over Deep Lake near Oxford, Wisconsin on the morning of October 2nd 2010. The first freeze of the season dropped temperatures to the 30 degree mark while water temperatures still hovered in the 60s allowing a thick layer of steam to form near the surface.

  • I don't think any of you understand. I have a house on deep lake and it is one of the peaceful places I know of. All together there is about 20 houses on the lake.
