I noticed the brand on your inverter. Harbor Freight stuff is inexpensive, but also very cheap. You may want to search for better quality units if you need to rely on them. Check eBay for LED strips. The strips would work better for dispersing the light and they are inexpensive.

Oh ya, costs... my steel super structure is $10k or less, and is rated for 200 tons. I figure +/- $50K for the completed R&D center.

#5 was $1000. HC are $1375 if my memory serves, but have not actually purchased from this source yet. Maybe next week- crossin fingers!

The panels will be in sand in the trench, I am only worried about crushing pressures, and system leakage due to faulty cementing. air pressure test before burrying.

You say "price was right", how much does a container cost? Just trying to get my head around the cost/benefit vs a stick built home.

PVC will break down over time due to UV and exposure to harsh weather conditions. If your budget allows it evacuated tubes are your best option. Living in AZ I'm sure they would be efficient most of the year. Are you in the high desert? A swamp cooler I do believe would work well in that area also because of low humidity levels good idea. Thanks for the reply.
Reconditioned 4 batteries and did a 2hour 10 amp vacuum test pulling 1200 watts. There is still more amp hours, ran out of time.
My first test only ran for 20 minutes on the same four batteries when I first configured the solar / battery array.
Here's proof that desulfating batterries works!
