O/T PROVERBS 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes...And again PROVERBS 19:18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying...And again PROVERBS 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him...When I was a child if one stuck out one`s tongue at a policeman you were in trouble !! I tried it much to my disgrace then I ran; But if an officer of the law caught you doing wrong you would be marched off to your mum with a leather glove behind your ear and his push bike [ie bicycle ] in one hand and you in the other...And guess what..when you got home ?? Leave him with me officer !! Then a good old-fashioned Wallop and up to bed after or sometimes before one`s dinner...to be continued.......AR.
