    he has a point

    I mean, think about it: there is no such thing as free lunch, right?

    any kind of content, any good or service costs something

    somebody has to pay for it

    if you want your news or your music or whatever to be of good quality, somebody has to be making it

    and you can't just expect people to make a good quality service without being paid for it
