More to the point, other people that work for private companies do not get this level of benefits from their company health insurance plans. And private sector unions get bad mouthed for negotiating health benefits but we can't criticize the politicians?

Are there a lot of other jes' reg'lar folk employees out there who get to decide on their own how good their health care plans will be? Are there a lot of other federal employees who are making it their business to see to it that the government -- everyone's government, not just the one that's "the boss" for these guys -- pays giant subsidies for these poor, helpless saps who are their "employees," but can't get involved in helping anyone else catch a break? Is that the real problem here?
