AAhhhh home made ice Cream, that's the best. I invested in this KitchenAid mixer + ice cream mixer attachment. One of the best buys ever. Check it out here: tinyurl dot com/8xhnouq. Replace "dot" with "."

@axella thanks :-)

@pootinhammer Yes, you can, and there's a video here for that, but it won't let me link to it. Do a search for Kitchenaid bowl lift ice cream, and you'll see it.

Great now we can have our own ice cream at home!!!!!

i dont have the tilt head stand mixer, i have the older model that has the two arms to attach to fins on the side of the bowl, can i still use this with my mixer?
-
@ceriess No, I agree with her. Calling it a Kica makes us sound like morons. You go right ahead though, OK?
-
@ceriess maybe you need a new friend? :cP

If I get this, I'll probably try to store the mixing bowl with dry ice in a cooler before I start to make the ice cream. You can get dry ice at any good grocery store.

I would recommend storing it in a freezer for at least an hr before serving.

She calls it a Kica. I called it that in front of my friend Carol and she said I was a tool.
