Phil shows us the swing, the most basic kettlebell exercise and one of the most intense cardio exercises around.

  • Notice that my head is actually moving as I lower and raise my torso.

    THIS IS BAD!

    You should tuck your chin as you do this exercise. I am moving my head because I am keeping the same focal point as I move through the swing. The best thing is to tuck in the chin, feel the solidity in your core, and let your focal point move with you. This can be difficult at first, as it can throw off your sense of balance, but once you get used to the feeling, it makes your swings seem almost effortless.
