no1 is saying the nhs is bad it is more an argument that it can be so much better. as hannan says in this vid the health service is full of dedicated professionsals who want to do good by their patients. nobody questions the dedication of our health workers or the great work they do but they work in a system that is disconnected from the people it is there to serve. by introducing consumer choice into the established system you can, in theory reduce the get what your given culture
@linscyclist Why do you presume that if the NHS is removed, no alternative systems would replace it? The entire point that Hannan is making is that the NHS will be replaced by a market system which would be far more efficient than the NHS.
How can you say the UK health system is horrible.. Try living without it. over the years I and my family have received excellent care from the NHS and it is one of our most precious institutions. I cannot understand this attitude towards it. It may be underfunded, which is the failing of government but from my own and many people - their experience of it is a good one. I have not experienced excessive waiting - treatment has always been prompt as has diagnosis.

I completely agree with him as well. The US has its problems, which are due to gov't interference as explained in this video ( watch?v=A7z4iHCNHMI ), but overall the UK has a HORRIBLE healthcare system and I hate living in it.
@Salford999Red He is wrong. A "Market System" has never worked and it never will.
