For my 3D animation course of spring '09, I was assigned the task of designing and creating a simple robotic character with a functional rig that can be easily animated. This is just a quick overview of the steps from start to finish in accomplishing such a task.
Software used: Adobe Photoshop (concept art), Adobe Illustrator (modelsheets) and Autodesk Maya (final 3D character model).
music used is owned by Nintendo.
