The Mars Volta @ Oslo 29.11.09- Cicatriz ESP (2/3) First gig with new drummer Dave Elitch.

Notice: The quality of Cedric's vocals gets somewhat lost in translation. Without a doubt is the best performance of his I've seen.

  • Dude I can't stop commenting on this video.

This is INDEED cedrics best performance... He's not jumping around losing his breath... Perhaps this is insight on a new jam on new album? can only hope.

  • @epiphysis: "Perhaps this is insight on a new jam on new album?" Probably, remember that Cicatriz jams from '03 ended up being Cassandra Gemini.

  • Thanks a lot man!! Any chance you could upload this to a torrent?

  • I already uploaded all I got. Message me if you're still interested.

  • @eamnr14 Wow, you're right on about that. I've been working out the past eleven months and something told me to light one up the other day. Sure enough, as soon as I did I turned into a gospel drummer.

  • @soave1nr he is not a master lol

all you really need is to build up your arm muscles, then light it up b4 you play and you'll play exactly like him, which is quite rubbish drumming imo!

he never had a good feel for omars music, deantoni pakrs does he fits perfect with omar, check him out

  • @coheed09cambria sorry for the late late late reply ... i'm not talking about cicatrz ... i'm talking about the jam in the middle ... omar says himself that they include new material in "jams" while playing live... just so we're on the same page ;)

  • this is from their first album. you seem like a pretty loyal fan.

  • Thomas Pridgeon is a master.

    he is younger than you.

go practice and stop your gentle opinion

find something of significance, some form of critique that is on par with his playing. "TP doesn't play enough rests on the 4 count" or something.

not "i'm cultish and miss john theodore"

    john is good

    thomas is good

lets see how this guys album ends up

  • i mean the part where it changes

  • i love them .. this has to be a new song

  • well u one in a million sir ...

  • thank you! exact same way i think

  • @NotYourBiggestFan yeah this definately is going to be on the next album ... just watch ... just for the fun of it ... it'll be on track 4... hahaha... but seriously
