Alright, so this is my contest entry for the Clockwork Prince ARC contest! AH, THIS TOOK ME FOREVER! and then the night it was due Vegas told me (8 hours left of rendering) and I almost cried...but yeah HERE IT IS!

I researched a LOT to make this vid, the song featured is actually a popular song of the time that Tessa, Will, and Jem would have been alive. I would have LOVED to have used a modern song but I thought that using one from their time (and by the London Orchestra) would be more relevent to the series. May I also mention that finding an adorable Asian male was easy, finding one that could "pass" for being in the 1800s when not...SO very Hard. But I did it (:

SYNOPSIS: Tessa's brother goes to London and sends Tessa a letter telling her to join him, so she boards a boat and comes over. She is taken by two old hags who claim her brother sent them for her and is then stuffed in a room, tortured, and learns she can shape-shift all in 6 months...until a dashing young man (WILL HERONDALE) comes in and breaks her out while following a hunch he had about the place. They kill one of the hags (or DARK SISTERS) and the remaining sister claims this is not the end. The Shadowhunters take TESSA GRAY back to the INSTITUTE where they all live and we are introduced to each member of the house. JEM CARSTAIRS is often ill and Tessa walks in on an attack and Jem as usual is kind as ever to her. WIll and Tessa share an intimate moment in the library (this song was so short i couldnt make it as long as I wanted) and then we see CHARLOTTE and HENRY BRANWELL talking to CAMILLE BELCOURT, a local vampire with a hunch. Charlotte and Henry go to a local bussinessman, MORTMAIN, to see if he knows anything about the wareabouts of Tessa's brother are and what he knows about the clockwork gears they foud at the Dark Sister's house. Tessa shifts into Camille and attends a Vampire soiree to get to the heart of the matter, where the two meet DE QUINCEY. De Quincey is running "the Pandemonium Club" where cult-like activities occur. After a series of events unfolds, the place catches fire...De Quincey escapes...and the Clave show up. not good. Along with the clave comes GABRIEL LIGHTWOOD, Will's arch-rival. At the soiree, NATHANIEL GRAY is found and brought back to the Institute with Tessa. Will and Tessa share an intimate moment in the attic ( ;D Holy Water scene) and then we skip to Jem and Tess talking of problems, and Jem suggesting they go to his favorite spot (BLACK FRIAR'S BRIDGE). Here they bond and encounter a clockwork couple that attacks them...and they brought their friends. Running back to the Institute they bring the clockwork beings with them, and as the Shadowhunters go into action Jem falls to the ground, bleeding and turning pale. He survives. After being tipped off by Mortmain the Clave goes after De Quincey to kill him (which they succeed in) and Will and Jem go out to the Dark Sister's house to find that one is actually a demon, and a bad*ss one at that. Well...until she's killed by them. At the same time it is found that Mortmain has actually been behind the entire plot and Nate is his accomplace. He takes SOPHIE and JESSAMINE and uses them to force Tessa to do what he wants...but Tessa is too smart. By the time Will realizes it was all a trick and makes it back, Tessa lies bleeding on the floor with a knife in hand. Mortmain claims he didnt do it and flees as Will goes to hold Tessa for the last time, OR NOT! She shifted and it appeared she stabbed herself when she actually didn't. Days Later, Tessa confonts Will about their future together and Will, per usual, tries desperatly hard to push her away by acting like a perv. He succeeds and saddened Tessa speaks to Jem about it, while in the meantime, Will heads over to MAGNUS BANE'S house seaking help...

Just a question, at 1:55 it seems to me that it's Will who is dyeing in Tessa's arms instead of the other way around. Great vid all in all though!
