  • Thanks for this visual presentation :) Makes it much easier to understand what my book is trying to imply when seeing it once in action. Now all the words make a lot more sense :)

    One thing I would have changed a little is the color of the ions. They are not that easy to spot ;)

    Ohh and yeah, this is from my understanding passive transport (in case one person isn't sufficent enough as an answer).

  • isn't it passive transport? because the ions pass through their respective channels by diffusion, which requires no energy other than the concentration gradient itself (passive transport).
