I want to study iaido. My favorite part is the philosophy expressed in the beginning and ending customs. Also, I think the economy of movement in the different kata are amazing.

I was at my first lesson two days ago. I liked it, but my legs did not. The kneeling is terrible, my knees and feet are sore, however, it is definitely worth it.

Which part of the kata do you deem the kissaki to be too low and on which practitioner. As the kissaki in the koryu of msr and mjer are of differing heights at certain parts of a cut in all kata
