  • @VanceTraceur have you ever lifted angry? you lift harder. Watch these guys lift, you'll see it there.. Serious lifters use their anger. It allows them to remain calm and focused for the rest of their daily life. Putting my rage into the gym allows me to grow, and while I may work in a club full of drunken idiots, when I bounce them I'm calm and courteous and my emotions are as dead as roadkill. I couldn't have that calm when I need it if I didn't use it up in the gym.

  • To accomplish certain goals you have to channel different motivation different emotions he is saying. If you listen he says until you put 800 pounds your back you wont understand what is necessary to get it done. When I max I don't think about what I did that day or what I ate, I think about what makes my blood boil what gets my hands shaking to the point where you can't stand still.
