Here is a short video on what you should be looking for and expecting from a Atari 2600, also here is the link that i promised in the video, it is from classic game room http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38os4_ama08 and it shows you how to hook up your Atari 2600 to a American TV, check out the classic game room channel if you are looking for some reviews of classic games.
I will be producing my own instructional setup video for the console you have just seen very soon so check back regularly to see when it is up.If you have any requests or feedback please leave a comment and i will try to get back to you ASAP.#
Thanks.

  • @voodoo92PS3 ummm I don't mean to be rude but racing games have there own controllers that look like paddles but never stop turning

  • @jnkproductions9900 yeh someone else posted about that a while back, sorry for that mistake in video it was unintended (harmless), thanx for the correction.

  • Do you live in the UK?

  • @kevin989able yeh i do.

  • @yogibear2k10 i dont think you appreciate that this was one of the first consoles ever released, so of course the graphics and sound will never be as good as modern games consoles, but if it wasn't for these early consoles we would not be where we are today, also the design of this thing its beautiful (its the definition of retro).

Thanks for the suggestion aswell but i already have a PS2 and i love it and im a bit of a Playstation fanboy.

And an emulator has nothing on the real thing.

  • @rocksterguy2 i have ps3 too and i love it but just wanted to experience some retro gaming.

  • you call 50 pounds not being a tight ass about the money? LOL. That's charity.

  • And that was my very first game console ever. Ah, do I miss the 80s... or maybe not :)

  • I've left my Atari 2600 plugged over night several times and it still works! I own 3 atari 2600's of my own and the one I always keep plugged in is the Star Wars black model... how different are teh models? My boxed one is 6 switch and teh other two are 4 switched and my bro just bought a boxed 4 switch with about 9 games for 50 USD. I bought mine for 65 USD. My black atari I got it for 89 USD with 100 games.

  • @voodoo92PS3 long live england im british

  • It's actually the original Atari VCS, but I'll let it slide...
