NIVEA/Plan - We care & connect.

Since December of 2009, NIVEA has been working with Plan International, an international childrens aid organization, to intensify its social commitment to children in a targeted and sustainable manner.

The partners have identified education for deprived children as the key issue. All children have the right to an education. But around the world 72 million children do not have a chance to go to school and the quality of the education is very poor. Many children leave school unable to read or write confidently and lack basic mathematic skills. Beiersdorf supports Plans education programs in many countries. Allowing children to learn about their rights and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to exercise them. Better educated children support the growth of civil society, democracy, and political stability, a benefit for all.
