Great guy, great player. Deserved a Stanley Cup.

i grew up on sundin, still got 3 rookie cards in my bedside table today, he was the real deal. best trade the leafs ever made and thats not even considering that we got clark back 2 seasons later lmao

@iLuvBarRefaeli The Maple Leafs do not retire numbers, they only honor them. Although Ace Bailey's number 6 and Bill Barilko's 5 are retired.

In 1994, the Quebec Nordiques made a huge mistake to trade Sundin to the Maple leafs for Wendel Clark.Sundin became a superstar in Toronto, while Clark was traded to the Islanders in the fall of 1995. Clark then joined Sundin as a Maple Leaf when he was traded again in March 1996.This one of the worst trades in hockey history.

talk about goalie problems... toronto's tenders have been absolutely inept since the lockout... they just can't seem to get lucky. maybe reimer will change the flow.

Why isn`t Sundin`s 13 retired yet, he was the highest scoring Leaf ever.
Joe is great. Sundin is greater
