@AnimeLuvr143 Try the full version of Adagio for Strings by Tiesto. The actual tune doesn't get started until like after 2:30 or something. Or the Hex Hector Club Mix of I Turn to You by Mel C goes for almost 3 minutes before the first verse even begins.

Yeah, many people artists simply start with maybe a drumbeat and then slowly add other instruments, and then instead of ending as it normally does, they'll slowly take bits off, until there's maybe nothing but the drumbeat at the end. Sometimes, however, the main part itself is also longer. For example, The Night by Scooter is normally 3:23 or so, but if you replace the normal version with the main part of the extended version, it comes to about 3:52, because the part after verse 2 is extended.

Think of it as sort of a club version. There's always an intro and ending beat in club songs and the song normally won't start until a minute or so in. As with calling it an "extended version", one may think that the original part of the song itself would've been longer. "Club Version" would have been more fitting but unfortunately i did not come up with the name of this song so don't ask me why they called it that.
