Realistic Simulation of an Asteroid impact.

This is what it would be like to be struck by a 500 km. asteroid. I didn´t make the video nor do i know who the author is, so the credit is not mine.

On the other hand there is some evidence that an impact with an asteroid created our moon. Now that would require an asteroid as big or perhaps far larger than the one shown in the vid. Naturally this would have to have happened before life evolved.

I am no geologist, but i thought that our moon was once part of Earth, which "fell apart" when the planet was creating itself, and it was very similar to the result of this recreation.

We should shoot the cast of jersey shore towards an asteroid when they collide all you'll see is cheap make up, flip flops, and hair gell flying everywhere finally when the dust of tanning spray settles all you see is snooki coming out of the debris
